You’re a year older and yet you still look younger than me. Life is this unfair.

Sorry for always shouting/screaming at you and losing my temper every time we start quarrelling. Sorry for even picking up fights with you. I know all this is sounding extremely strange coming from me :O HAHA PLEASE BEAR WITH IT AS IT’S CONFESSION TIME :O

It’s sad to see you distance yourself away from us – I feel that you are becoming more and more like a stranger to me. I no longer know you anymore. Remember the times you used to encourage/help me? In P1 you bought me my first slurpee from 7-11 at the old RGPS campus when you came to fetch me from school after my abacus lesson. We were so cute then – We hooked pinkies to promise each other not to tell Her Majesty (: No, I’m not saying we’re not cute now haha!

In P4, I really disliked doing this particular Chinese assessment book which required me to rearrange words to form sentences. I think the book was called 组织成句.. It was such a tedious process..!! I used to disturb you every time you sat down to study because I couldn’t stand how you managed to sit still for such long stretches. Once, you were so engrossed in your work and miraculously lost track of time. When you asked me for the time, I purposely set my alarm clock 2 hours ahead, ran to your desk, showed you the clock and you freaked out!! You almost killed me when you realized what I did ;P

I didn’t like Science in P5 and was never good at it (still am). You actually helped me consolidate notes on MS Word and printed them for me to take to school to revise for my Science exam (:

In P6, you tried your best to help me get into Nanyang through your contacts. I remembered how you accompanied me to CCAB – the then-SPE – to try out for T&F in case I couldn’t get in through Badminton. Obviously I didn’t make it – Do I look like I can run?! Mr Pedro said they would take me in if I joined Throws, but Her Majesty wouldn’t approve of it. In the end you were so cheesed off because your efforts were futile ): Sorry for the troubles you had to go through..

In Sec 2, you went to Ontario for exchange and we exchanged emails rather frequently (: Even though you were far away in physical terms, you still bothered asking me how I was getting along with my work and even asked to see how I did my unseen prose.. :/

These are things I’ll never forget. Not to mention all the times we laughed at Tanny behind her back :D Ah, these fond memories.

Thank you for always trying to talk sense into me whenever I’m down.

Stop emo-ing under the pretext of working on assignments using your laptop! I’m not as oblivious/aloof to my surroundings at home as I seem (: It still amuses me how His Majesty calls you ‘the emo’. Oh by the way, I’m not the one who always tips Her Majesty off about you and your doings in the wee hours of the morning!!! I know you think I’m the one ): Whatever it is, stay cheerful and take things more lightly (: I’ve always admired how you’ve managed to cope with so many things under your belt. It’s good to see that you’re not as highly strung up as before as you are now seeking comfort in running/playing piano/singing/going out with your friends! Yeah, that’s the way babe! Get far far far far far far far awayyyyyyy from the stress at home.
